Qualified Early Years Practitioner

We are looking for a qualified Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about ensuring each child has the best possible start in life.

At KinderKare Nurseries we pride ourselves on providing a family orientated, supportive space in a high quality environment near to the city centre that allows the both children and staff alike to feel safe, have fun and thrive.

We have created a culture built around our core values which ensures the children in our nursery are kept safe, have a healthy nutritious diet, where we work in partnership with families and where most importantly the children feel genuinely happy all the time they are with us.
To enable this culture to continue to grow we value each and every member of our team and truly understand the support we need to provide you to ensure you are able to be positive and motivated to be at your best for the children at all times.
We achieve this by actively equipping you with the tools, knowledge, confidence and encouragement you need to succeed. Along with this we offer ongoing training and a full induction to help you settle into the role along with continued support.

We are a highly motivated and professional team that are looking for like-minded colleagues who share our passion and drive to help create a safe and secure learning environment for children to enjoy.

We invest heavily in building positive trusting relationships, firstly with the children but equally parents, carers and all other professionals as by working in partnership we are able to achieve better outcomes for the children.

We are looking for you to already possess a relevant early years/childcare qualification at Level 2 or above or an alternative equivalent qualification.

Training

At KinderKare day nurseries, staff training is vitally important to us. Upon gaining employment with us, staff are placed on a 3 year training programme. We see it as our duty to ensure that all staff are highly trained to provide childcare to parents who place their trust in us to educate their children.

To enforce this, staff complete in depth appraisals covering all nursery policies and Ofsted standards. From these, individual training programmes are devised which are monitored and reviewed monthly. An individual training matrix tracks all the courses they have attended or need to attend. Regular in-house training sessions are completed through our monthly staff meetings as we promote a positive learning culture throughout the group. We ensure all staff are fully trained in safeguarding, first aid and the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Our day nursery is closely linked to the local college, with which staff are supported in their training courses, assisting tutors with observations and assessments. KinderKare is fully committed to staff training and development.
