What about infectious illness?

Our nurseries have a strict control of infection policy.  To protect other children and staff we insist that all children remain at home until all signs and symptoms have been clear for at least 24hrs and they are well enough to cope with a busy nursery day.

We request that parents/carers contact the nursery by telephone if their child is to be absent for any reason.  We also request that the nursery is informed if any child has an infectious illness so we can inform other parents/carers to watch out for signs and symptoms in their own child.
